My name is Carmen Almontes. I was born in the Dominica Republic and I was raised in New York City. I've always  had a passion for makeup. I've been following my dreams and accomplishing my goals in becoming a makeup artist. I've been a makeup and hairstylists for a few years now. Makeup has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. The knowledge I have gained has helped me help other people gain confidence in themselves and how they look. I truly believe that everyone is beautiful in their own way, and I will forever stand by that.
